Increase delivery precision and reduce tied-up capital.

Description:
The client was in urgent need of increasing delivery precision from production to subsidiaries while maintaining quality. In addition, the company suffered from indecisive management, unclear processes and flawed internal communications. All of this needed to be resolved quickly. The consultant carried out an inventory and clarified which processes and priorities were required for the future. Internal communications were improved, creating better collaboration within the company. Clear targets were set and the consultant maintained ongoing dialogues, which were followed up, with affected personnel and departments within the company regarding achieved results and opportunities for further improvement.

Result:

  • In less than three months, delivery precision was improved from approximately 45% to over 90%.
  • Capital tied up in stock was simultaneously reduced by over 30% and
  • The number of open complaints decreased by over 80%.
