Description:
The international group of companies had decided to implement a number of measures designed to improve profitability by several million euros, including sales-promotion measures, increased productivity and significant cost savings. The consultant was tasked with working with group management to select and structure a number of projects with the greatest potential for achieving the set goals.
Result:
Plans of action were presented and a manager from within the group was appointed for each project. These projects were included in the budget for a three-year plan and concrete activities were commenced, for example, doubling the size of the US sales organisation, upgrading the skills of the sales forces in the various countries involved, and the centralisation of repair and maintenance services.
